  • July 02, 2004 A fine collection

Despite the single copying error noted by another reviewer, this is an excellent collection of effective arrangements of Anderson's well-known (and some not so well known) tunes. No advanced string orchestra "pops" concert should be without it!

  • September 07, 2002 Note error in Blur Tango

These arrangements by William Zinn have a serious note error in Blue Tango. It has been there since original publication in the 1950s, and has not been corrected. It is in the melody line where a C sharp has been changed to a C natural. I have tried to contact...

the current publisher and editor, but Thom Proctor has not returned my call. For the sake of we who love Leroy Anderson's music, DO NOT use this arrangement of Blue Tango. Many people who do, insist that it is correct!!
