I wanted to listen to hymns at the gym. Th proprietor set my phone so I could use my bluetooth headphones. We tried to put it on the hymns but instead a conference came up. I said that will be OK. So off I went to get on a treadmill...

. All of a sudden my phone went blank and all of a sudden I heard this beautiful music. When I realized I was now on music, it was very beautiful I tried harder to hear it and began to hear It Is Well With My Soul. It was sooo beautiful I felt a good cry coming on and since I don't want to cry in public I chocked down the tears until I got off in a room where I was alone. And I cried. I knew it was the answer to my prayers. My heart was filled with the "love of God." I was re-born. That was the beginning of a new life. I was feeling great and very productive. I still am very productive. I still listen each day and am brought to tears when I hear the phrase when Christ ... shed His. blood for my soul.I do love this hymn.Praise the Lord of my soul.

This is a touching and lovely hymn in the first place, but with the sensitive and artistic arrangement by Mack Wilberg it becomes exquisite. Performers and listeners are moved by the beautiful harmonies and key changes as well as the text.
