This is a somewhat quirky little tune with a totally independent accompaniment, some of which is a repeated pattern. Verse two reveals that this tune is also a canon, and verse three begins with the men harmonizing with the altos singing the tune, and the sopranos in canon, and filters down to a unison ending. Oh yes, and the text is about being welcomed.
