The poem “In Flanders Fields” was written by Canadian army doctor John McCrae during World War I, after his friend Alexis Helmer got fatally injured on May 2, 1915.

Many arrangements of this poem include the 5th line musically in the second verse, whereas this line belongs to the first verse. In this version, along with various other changes, the music follows the original poem correctly. Arranged by John Bouwmans. Full Score (5 pages) and Choral Score (2 pages). Performance time approx. 2:35. SMP-401G.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
