This flexible arrangement is from the cantata Wo wilt du hin, weils Abend ist, composed in 1698 by Johann Philipp Krieger. The melody is characteristic of the baroque style with cleanly articulated sixteenth-note passages that are easy to sing. This is a good introductory piece to the writing of the Baroque period that can be used in worship or concert settings. Two-Part (SA, TB, or other combinations) Choir and Keyboard.
