  • July 12, 2018 Beautiful arrangement

    I've played this as a string trio, omitting 2nd violin (with first violin playing a couple measures from the second violin part at rehearsal marking C) and it worked well. I also did this with a student string workshop (first and second violin, viola, cello) and it was fantastic...

    ! Not too difficult, but still majestic and beautiful. Very popular performance piece; we'll be using it again!

    Absolutely worth it. A cut above the others in terms of the harmony use and knowledge of the instrument capabilities etc. A true patriotic piece for string quartet! Thanks! :)
