Published by SMT Music (A0.749759).Frosty the Snowman followed Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer for Gene Autry, the Singing Cowboy in his rendition of Holiday Fare music. His wife, over his objections, convinced Autry to record Rudolf in 1949. The commercial success of that song changed his mind and the next year in 1950 he recorded Frosty the Snowman.
This arrangement is in a jazzy, swinging style. Fun to play, passes the melody around the quartet. .
