Great Book
I like books that give you a progression of material. With a book like this, nearly ANY of my (younger) private students will fit in at some starting level. There is never enough material out there. So this is great!

Great book for progressing musician!
I saw this on a list of method/etude books for progressing musicians and ordered it for my 8th grade euphonium/trombone student. I liked it so much I bought a copy for myself. This is a nice way to warm up the lips at the beginning of a practice session. Playing the easier ones with a slow metronome is a great way to practice tone development as well as deeper breathing. The print is very clear and easy to read & the etudes progressively become more challenging. I was pleased to see that John Drew from Florida State University was the trombone CD performer as I heard him play Blue Bells of Scotland at an outdoor concert years ago and was enthralled. The CD is worth listening to for itself!
