Great Melodic Resource, Oboe Solo Focus
While this is strictly an oboe solo collection and doesn't provide piano accompaniment, the melodies themselves are a fantastic resource. The 'easy to intermediate' arrangements offer well-known tunes that could easily serve as a guide for a vocalist or for ear training. For a collaborative pianist, it’s a good source for identifying strong melodic lines to build an accompaniment around, or for students to practice playing with a track.

So Much Fun to Play Familiar Tunes on Oboe!
I absolutely love this book! As an adult learner, it's so rewarding to pick up my oboe and play songs like 'My Heart Will Go On' or 'Hallelujah.'
