SKU: MN.10-216

Composed by Alfred V. Fedak. Non Hymn-Based, Preludes, Postludes. Organ Dedication. MorningStar Music Publishers #10-216. Published by MorningStar Music Publishers (MN.10-216).

UPC: 688670102165.

Commissioned by the Ann Arbor Chapter of the American Guild of Organists in honor of Dr. Marilyn Mason, this is a work full of personality and flair. The "fanfare" of the first movement is announced by pedal sixteenth notes and answered by the manuals. The middle movement features a cantabile melody which circulates among the swell, great and pedal divisions. The final movement features changing meters which build to an energetic finish. This is a great recital piece for yourself or a wonderful teaching piece for that star student, and is as satisfying as it is challenging.
