An inspiring anthem which combines an original melody together with the familiar hymntune, SCHONSTER HERR JESU. (In some hymnals, this tune is known as CRUSADERS' HYMN and ST. ELIZABETH.) The first stanza is sung to the new melody. Stanza two is sung to the familiar hymntune, and stanza three combines the two tunes together. The entire anthem may be sung unison, with a C instrument playing the second part on stanza three. The voices may divide and sign the two parts as well. Composer: Silesian folk tune Arranger: Jonathan Crutchfield Text Author: Gesangbuch Munster (1677).
