Easy but not boring; my teacher and I are using these for sight reading. Nice arrangements.

Parts are well balanced and certainly gave our beginner class some challenges along the way! Great arrangements with nice harmonies; our class started playing these about 6 months into lessons and the pieces are still fun going into our second year.

Great music and easy to play duets... and the slurs are great for beginners to practice.

  • April 17, 2007 Bach duets for beginners

This is a nice little collection of duets for beginner violinists. It's some of Bach's sweet little tunes but is written without much in the way of dynamics and phrasing so a teacher can use it as a base to introduce these things. The harmonies are a little...

clunky but beginners would be able to learn both parts.

these arrangements are sweet, easy to play and pleasing to the ear. No dynamic markings, however.
