A young girl sits on the side of a grassy hill, waiting as the sun sets slowly over the horizon. Stars begin to appear, slowly at first in the fading light, then more as the milky way and constellations start to show. The girl lies back and watches as meteors shoot through the sky, burning brightly for just a moment before disappearing. She sleeps, dreaming of a life out amongst the stars, of grand adventures and new worlds, before retiring to her peaceful life once again.
Dreaming of the Stars was written for and is dedicated to the Australian singer-songwriter and musician Jess Cerro, aka Montaigne.
