The mostimportant symbol of Celtic art is the triskelion. It is made up of three curvedlegs representing the past, the present and the future. It can also symbolizethe balance between mind, body and spirit; the beginning and the end; orconstant learning versus eternal evolution.
Life is atimeline. Memories from the past can sometimes evoke pleasant images andbeautiful experiences in our minds, but they can also fill us with sadness andnostalgia. Thinking of the future can give us hope, but it can also awakenanxiety. The only time when we can truly be, make decisions, and effect changeis the present. Today is a gift, a diamond in the rough that we can cut andpolish to our liking. Quoting the wise words of Irish author Oscar Wilde in ThePicture of Dorian Grey: “Life is a moment. There is no hereafter. So make itburn always with the hardest flame.”
