Sanborn Transcriptions
By and large these transcriptions are playable. After years of incorporating them as a sax teacher, many are invaluable to learning Sanborn's innovative style -Especially in the earlier years of his career. But in many tunes either the rhythm is false or the melody notes are incorrect. So, no excuse for not listening carefully! Too bad there was not a thorough proof reading. Nonetheless worth the investment and time listening and practicing!!
