In the early 1970s, the five volumes of the Basic Electric Bass series were among the first publications for the instrument. At that time, many double bass (or upright players) employed similar fingering on the electric bass (bass guitar). In this second edition of Volume II, most fingerings have been deleted so that more contemporary techniques may be applied. This book of traditional and contemporary repertoire will help intermediate students improve their reading skills, and includes 14 solos and 7 duets.
