  • April 17, 2017 Energetic Easter Anthem

We have a 15 voice choir and they sounded great on this anthem. Voice leading is fine overall. There are a couple divisi parts for sopranos, but I actually wish there were more, since not all our folks can hit notes above the staff. Tenor parts were also on the...

high side. The rhythms are straight forward and logical and provide a nice drive. The "Hymn to Joy" section in the middle was a crowd pleaser. The biggest thing to be aware of is that the accompaniment is most definitely intended to be played on the organ. I had to get creative to get it to work on a piano. But the accompaniment is a real asset to the piece--very catchy and supports the choir well.

  • April 05, 2017 Great Song!

The product was ordered and arrived very well packaged and as promised. This is a great song that we will be doing just after Easter with a portion of our orchestra and our hand bell choir. Can't wait to sing this!
