If you just want the rhythm part of the piano this is the book fer u. They didn't arrange it so the piano cud play the melodu, it's just like it is in the songs. Personally, I thought it wuz a great book bcuz I cud hear the...

melody in my head. Hope this helped.

  • April 14, 2009 Great for Coldplay fans

I found this to be very accurate for the most part and many of the songs, especially the ones primarily featuring the piano such as "Clocks", "Amsterdam", and "The Scientist", sound much like the recording. Perhaps there are some instances when the left hand/bass line may have to be...

improvised with a bit in order to sound better on a single piano since it sometimes appears to have been written to match the bass guitar line. And yes, the vocal melody is not incorporated into the right hand of the transcription, but that's okay if you're singing along. I don't think this was meant to have revamped instrumental arrangements. If you like it as close to the recording as a single piano allows, this is great for a Coldplay piano-playing fan. If you're a guitar player, get the guitar book for the alternate tunings, especially on "God Put a Smile Upon Your Face".

  • March 06, 2008 Great collection of Coldplay pieces

The songs in "A Rush of Blood to the Head" are many of Coldplay's more popular ones featuring "Clocks" and "The Scientist". They are very fun to learn and not all that complicated to play (mainly dealing with cord changes and variations). I recommend this product to any Coldplay...

fan who has a couple of years of piano lessons under their belt.
