    Jazz is rarely easy, but as jazz arrangements go these aren't so tough, but they sound like a million bucks when your choir locks in

    Deke Sharon's vocal jazz a cappella arrangements are very good. They also make wonderful launching pads for innovation and creativity with these old jazz standards.

    These pieces are an interesting challenge to many in our choir. The male parts particularly who would not be best known for their sense of rhythm. Keeping these songs together becomes very difficult for the sopranos and altos unless the sense of rhythm is kept throughout the pieces by the...

    tenors and basses. However, the hard work is most rewarding and we are performing a couple of pieces in a choral competition in April in the North of Ireland.
