Great piece of music but not long enough
Great music but this arrangement is too short and does little to develop the theme, particularly the Black Pearl. We had to make up some repeats to fill it out a bit but it still feels like there is something missing. On the positive side, the flex band arrangements cater well for a diverse range of instruments and since we are a cross between an orchestra and a concert band we have need parts for strings as well as clarinets, brass, bassoon, sax, etc. Flex Band arrangement are the only readily available arrangements that let us step away from classical orchestral music.
