Powerful arrangement
Three verses, three different keys, all a cappella. A beautiful, tragic, triumphant arrangement (in that order). The notes, rhythms, and intervals themselves are not terribly difficult. The biggest challenge is the key changes, especially from the second to third verse. You just have to listen to it and practice it over and over again until it's in your head. And you need to have singers who are strong enough to hold their own in the 8-part harmony of the final verse, and who are experienced enough musically to project the spirit and feeling and emotion of this song. After we performed this song, people kept using one word over and over: amazing. For days afterward I kept hearing positive comments. It's a really great song, and I highly recommend it.
