excellent teaching tool
i bought essential elements intermediate technique in grade 3 and learned most of my fingerings and shiftings from it. my teacher replaced his teaching book with mine because he noted the rapid improvement i showed with it. and now in grade 5 i am sure that essential elements advanced technique is going to help a lot. but note that this should be actually intermediate technique part 2 and not really advanced because it does not cover thumb position, just gives a cursory look at thumb position.
