A spirited work by Ed Huckeby that features unique rhythmic accompaniment motives in the brasses contrasted with simple, but musically effective woodwind melodic lines. The moderato’’ middle section utilizes subtle syncopation to create a pleasant contemporary character. This medium-easy piece is sure to be a favorite concert and contest selection for years to come.
