  • May 26, 2019 Great sight singing tool!

As a private voice teacher, several high school students wishing to build sight singing skills for all-state auditions, or for college auditions have used this method with great results! The teacher needs to be able to also sight read using this method to help.

Although I have my degree in Music Education, I found that this book is a bit to fast-paced for my elementary students. There are excerpts I can use, which is helpful, but you really can't start at the beginning and build on these exercises without adding a good...

deal more rhythm and theory. Also, the book uses movable Do right from the start - tricky for first grade.
