In 1967, the acclaimed song was covered by Johnny Rivers, and his version managed to surpass even the massive popularity of the original -- it ended up reaching as high as number 3 on the Billboard charts (and number 1 in Canada!). Since his version was performed in an "orchestral pop" style featuring members of the LA Philharmonic, it's only natural that the song translates wonderfully in this Cellobat arrangement for your violin and cello duet! This fun upbeat chart features the beautiful melodies, catchy choruses, and danceable rhythms of the original, for an arrangement that's just as much fun to play as it is to listen to!
