For Classical or Acoustic Guitar - sometimes it's erroneously listed here as Electric Guitar.
Derek Hasted writes "This is a very accessible and straightforward arrangement of The Beatles' 'Lady Madonna', but it contains all the main thematic material of the original.
I've used slight (and brief) dissonances between some of the parts to create the illusion of notes that slide into pitch - as long as the piece isn't played too slowly, this little trick works just fine as you'll hear from the associated soundclip.
Guitar Three works well in first position.
Guitar Two can be played in a mix of first and second positions - if you have a large ensemble, the part can be split between players so that it's easier to get a rounded tone (for example using a gentle rest-stroke) which is not so easy when played on one guitar.
There's no fingering for Guitar One - some people may prefer to tackle the bulk of the line in Seventh position, others may find Fifth position more secure.
