Published by Tara Music Studio (A0.1027816).A beautiful, lesser known piece by Tchaikovsky. This is a great piece to work on legato phrasing, voice leading, intonation, and orchestral balance. String are muted (except basses) and the melody isn't always where it should be. Some higher position work for violins and a short treble clef section for violas. The cello and bass lines are fairly simple. Intermediate violin and viola players might find t some of the position work tricky but could be a great quick sight readable addition to a concert for an advanced intermediate or advanced ensemble.
