The main melody is set is 8/8 time which easily divides into groups of three, two and three. It’s scored for SATB choir with keyboard accompaniment and would be ideal of high school, college or community choirs. There are opportunities for optional solos in the piece and the piano part is of medium difficulty. It would be ideal for a nativity play or part of a Christmas service or Christmas concert. The vocal ranges are as follows: Soprano C4 - G5; Alto: A3 - D5; Tenor: C3 - F4 and Bass F2 - F3. The work is also available scored for SAT and SSA choirs. (Duration: 04:09)
