This jazzy neo-spiritual puts the “cool” in winter. A cappella except for an optional acoustic bass, this anthem has an almost vintage swing approach and is a refreshing sonic change for any seasonal concert. Close harmonies and electric rhythms help propel this piece into the tapping toes of the audience. Schools and churches alike will enjoy this one!

Very cool
Very cool. I refer to it as an a cappella+ arrangement because like some of the other arrangements (such as Take on Me arranged by Roger Emerson, Blinding Lights arranged by Mark Brymer, etc.) it can be sung either a cappella or you can crank it up a notch w/ instrumental accompaniment. More instrumental parts (like Piano, etc.), more voicings, a version for combined Choir, Band, & Strings, as well as a marching band adaptation would make it totally rock. In the meanwhile if I wanted to do it w/ Piano Accompaniment, the Right hand could play the Upright Bass part as written & the Left hand can play an Octave lower than written to create a strong sounding Double Octave Bass Line, oh & w/ 108 Key Pianos (like the Stuart & Sons Big Belura) my left thumb can play an octave lower than written & left 4th finger can play 2 octaves lower than written resulting in a strong Triple Octave Bass Line.
