Orbit for Cello Solo
Orbit for solo cello by Phillip Glass is a single movement piece which is a very tonal in design. I play solo cello for public events and Im always looking for new works that spark the publics interest, and Orbit fits this category rather well. Its simple design reminds me of a Bach solo cello suite movement, but without making any direct quotes. Its just a nice piece to add to ones quiver.
