Never gave much thought to half
Until I discovered this book I never gave much thought to half position. Certainly not like the other positions. I am an adult amateur trying to improve on the cello and this was an eye opener. Ms. Harvey clearly marks stay in half position and some etudes are written entirely played in half position. 43 etudes, finger numbers are clearly marked then there are 6 pages for review at the end of the book. Well worth spending time with this book. Some double stops so I think intermediate players would find this a very useful book.
