Demelza's Dance is in bright playful 2/4 time in concert G minor. The middle section by contrast is in G major and is lyrical before returning to the G minor section then coda.
The flute range is just over 2 octaves with the top not being top E flat, (Top D Clarinet,) which only occurs once or twice. I have placed it at intermediate level, but on the youtube link there is the full score for you to judge suitability.
