For the next 6 months I will be releasing a new arrangement every other Friday for string quartets, ideal for wedding and function bands. Each arrangement will be of famous ballad or track released by a female artist in the '90s or '00s.
I am starting with Love Story, written and performed by Taylor Swift. This track is ideal for wedding pads. As with all my arrangements, I try to write parts that are both engaging to play and listen to, whilst embodying the essence of the track, resulting in a recognizable and pleasing arrangement to audience and musician. When arranging music, I listen to the source material A LOT and try to weave the subtleties and nuances and ear candy that a casual listener might not notice into a cohesive summation; translating the effect of electric guitars, percussion and synthesizers into playable parts that don't require musicians to have an extensive knowledge of extended techniques.

Each part is two pages long except for the viola part which has a well placed page turn.
