Based on an ancient Irish tune and made famous by Vaughan Williams, "Kingsfold" is often sung to the text of "I heard the voice of Jesus say", but there are many other text settings as well. This peaceful interlude features the melody prominently in a 6/8 setting that will work beautifully as a prelude, offertory, wedding music, and for many other settings. This was written and recorded on a two manual instrument. Add a bit of Irish to your playing!
