The Spirit of Christmas is a medley of charming Christmas carols, all with an international character. The medley consists of the following five carols: Away in a Manger; The First Noel; It Came Upon the Midnight Clear; O Come, All Ye Faithful and Hark! The Herald Angels Sing. A four-part choir part in English has been added which can be used ad lib. or you can also opt for singing the melody line only, for example with a soloist and/or the congregation. The arrangement is not too high pitched so that the work can also be used in combination with a children’s or High School choir.

The Spirit of Christmas versammelt fünf wundervolle Weihnachtslieder aus der ganzen Welt. Dieses Arrangement von Jacob de Haan kann mit einem gemischten Chor oder einem Kinderchor aufgeführt werden. Der Gesang kann aber auch von einem Solisten oder einer kleinen Gruppe Sänger übernommen werden. Die Chorstimmen sind auf Anfrage in englischer Sprache erhältlich.Das Chorstimmenset (25 Expl. The Spirit of Christmas est un medley de cinq merveilleux chants de Noël, célèbres dans le monde entier. Vous retrouverez Away in a Manger, The First Noel (Aujourd’hui, le Roi des Cieux), It Came Upon A Midnight Clear, O Come, All Ye Faithful (Adeste Fideles) et Hark! The Herald Angels Sing (Écoutez, le chant des Anges). Cet arrangement peut être interprété avec un Chœur mixte quatre voix (ad lib.), mais il est également possible de faire chanter la ligne mélodique seule par un soliste (avec micro) et/ou par l’assistance. Dans la mesure où l’arrangement n’évolue pas dans des registres aigus inaccessibles, il peut aussi être accompagné par unChœur d’enfants.
