The familiar bolero rhythm permeates this entire work that is reminiscent of Ravel's 'Bolero.' While not a transcription, this work pays homage to the great French composer in that it makes use of similar material that is original while maintaining the concept of one very large crescendo that culminates in a dramatic, powerful close.
