Yellowstone Choral was inspired by the marvellous landscapes of the Yellowstone National Park in the United States. The choral comprises three choral phrases that alternate throughout the work. The beginning is lightly orchestrated, with an oboe solo, but more instruments gradually join in before the second phrase of the choral is introduced. The third phrase does not appear so quickly and when it does it is introduced by horns and trombones before building up to the climax of the choral, where the trumpet takes the upper hand. After this the choral gradually fades away, with the first and second phrases appearing just a few more times. The choral ends as it began,with a slowly ebbing orchestration.

Yellowstone Choral is ge?nspireerd op de prachtige landschappen In het Yellowstone National Park in de Verenigde Staten. Het koraal is opgebouwd uit drie koraalzinnen die elkaar gedurende het hele koraal afwisselen. Het begin is dungeorkestreerd met een solo voor hobo, maar langzamerhand komen er enkele instrumenten bij om zo over te gaan naar de voorstelling van de tweede koraalzin. De derde koraalzin laat langer op zich wachten en wordt dan voorgestelddoor hoorns en trombones om te groeien naar de climax van het koraal waar de trompet de bovenhand neemt. Hierna sterft het koraal geleidelijk aan uit waarbij de eerste en tweede koraalzin nog enkele keren aan bod komen. Het koraaleindigt zoals het begon, met een orkestratie die langzaam uitdeint.

Drei im Wechsel erscheinende melodische Phrasen liegen dieser Hymne and den Yellowstone Nationalpark zu Grunde. Nach einem zarten, transparenten Anfang für Oboe fügt sich nach und nach der Rest des Orchesters ein, bis die zweite Phrase beginnt. Die dritte Phrase wird von den Hörnern und Posaunen vorgestellt. Nach Erreichen des von der Trompete eingeleiteten großen Höhepunkts fällt der Spannungsbogen zum Schluss hin wieder in umgekehrter Reihenfolge ab.

Trois motifs qui se succèdent alternativement composent cet hymne dédié au parc national de Yellowstone. la mélodieuse introduction où le hautbois est mis l’honneur, se rajoute l’orchestre complet pour entamer le deuxième motif. Le troisième thème engage les cors et les trombones, auxquels se rajoutent les trompettes pour aboutir au climax de l’oeuvre. Peu peu, la tension retombe par le cheminement inverse de l’ordre d’apparition des instruments pour finir en une douce et enchanteresse conclusion.

Yellowstone Choral si ispira ai sontuosi paesaggi dell’omonimo parco nazionale negli Stati Uniti. Il cantico si compone di 3 fasi musicali. L’inizio è _x001F_nemente orchestrato con un assolo per oboe, accompagnato all’inizio da qualche strumento, in seguito dall’intero organico. La seconda fase è annunciata dai corni e dai tromboni e anticipa il momento supremo del cantico che vede trionfare la tromba. Il cantico volge alla conclusione con la riesposizione delle prime due frasi e termina con un’orchestrazione nel segno della dolcezza.
