Make sure to ask questions before purchasing
Really a supplement to other liturgical music resources a community or parish already possesses. Some still-used mass settings do not appear here. In this 4-volume set — each just about 2 inches thick — all of Vol. 1 and half of Vol. 2 are for psalms and mass settings. It’s not until the second half of Vol. 2 that hymns begin.
For quick hymn search, I think an alphabetical list of hymns would be better … these books do not do that. The thumbnail image makes one think that this volume consists of one volume: I would have serious second thoughts had I known that the package comprises four books! Quality is excellent … well made, and the spiral binding is better than the “old” Worship II keyboard accompaniment book. |
