In this moving tribute piece, the composer has created a breathtakingly gorgeous band work inspired by the idea that even after death, a persons memory can inspire, comfort, and influence our daily lives. A poignantoriginal melody and Go Tell it on a Mountain are both effectively use d to memorialize Maddie Milner, a trumpet player in the Bayfield, CO High School band, who passed on doing what she loved in a skiing accident her freshman year.
