Winter Storm Woodwind Quintet - Digital Sheet Music
I composed this piece over March Break in 2020, when I was still holding out hope that schools would reopen after the COVID-19 shutdown. After all, how long could it possibly take to wait out a pandemic? I had hoped that my music class would play it once we were back, but of course that never happened. The piece itself is a wind quintet that portrays snow falling outside. Not the pretty, light snow that one might associate with Christmas, but rather the dense whiteout and cold winds that make late winter in this hemisphere so truly delightful.
