The composer of Where Eagles Soar is Nonie N. Sorensen the mother of six Eagle Scouts and the wife of a Silver Beaver Scouter and long time Scoutmaster. She is widely recognized in LDS circles and elsewhere as a composer and producer of historical musical shows and other music works. Many of her musical theater works were produced by her over the years for the LDS Visitors Center Theater in Nauvoo, Il.
