9 x 12 in inches.

The song When This Cruel War Is Over was published in 1863, written by Henry Tucker, with lyrics by Charles Carroll Sawyer. During the Civil War, it sold more than one million copies, and was one of the most popular tunes of its era. It was popular enough to be sung by both Union and Confederate troops. This arrangement features sections with a marching feel, and a contrasting section featuring the upper winds that convey a yearning for the war to be over.
