Brass Quintet - Level 2 - Digital Download

SKU: A0.775196

Composed by Milton E. Schwartzwald. Arranged by Bill Wilson. Broadway,Musical/Show. 11 pages. Alexander Wilson #3859473. Published by Alexander Wilson (A0.775196).

Songwriter Milton E. Schwartzwald's "When All Your Castles Come Tumbling Down", written with lyricist Arthur Francis, was one of very few Schwartzwald songs to survive. It was written by Schwartzwald and Francis for the musical "Molly Darling"; a musical for which neither Schwartzwald nor the better known Francis received overall lyrics or music credit.   It is, nevertheless, a lovely piece. We present it as a slow-paced, reflective song, but in a contemporary 1923 recording by the Zez Confrey Orchestra the song is presented almost as a rag. Arranged for brass quintet (two Bb trumpets, French horn, trombone, and tuba). Performance time is approximately 2:25. Visit our website, www.tootsuitebrasspublishing.com, for a catalog of our arrangements available through sheetmusicplus.com.
