My choral arrangement of What Was I Made For? (Soprano Solo/SATB), the poignant Academy Award- and Golden Globe-winning song originally performed and written by Billie Eilish and Finneas O'Connell for the motion picture Barbie (2023), maintains the original lyrics and melody while reimagining the harmonies inspired by Eric Whitacre, with whom I have had the honour of performing as a member of the Eric Whitacre Singers. Suitable for concerts or other special occasions, it is recommended that the performing choir hosts at least eight members (two-per-part) as there are moments where staggered breathing is recommended.
