This piece was written for two sons of the composer as a welcome to young and innocent lives in to this big world. The concept and instrumentation of the composition allows any young band to play this piece. The optional celesta (keyboard) is a refreshing addition, evoking the sound of an ancient music box, and has a meaningful part as the music box fades out at the end of the piece.

Dit werk is geschreven voor beide zonen van de componist twee jonge, onschuldige levens die in deze grote wereld worden verwelkomd. Door het concept en de instrumentatie is deze compositie geschikt voor alle jonge blaasorkesten. De optionele celesta (keyboard) is een verfrissende toevoeging die de klank van een ouderwets muziekdoosje oproept aan het eind van het werk speelt dit instrument een belangrijke rol bij het langzaam uitfaden van het geluid.

Dieses Stück wurde für die beiden Söhne des Komponisten geschrieben, um zwei junge und unschuldige Lebewesen auf der großen Welt zu begrüßen. Durch seinen Aufbau und die Instrumentierung eignet sich das Stück besonders für junge Blasorchester. Die optionale Stimme für Celesta (Keyboard) ist eine erfrischende Ergänzung, die an den Klang einer alten Spieluhr erinnert: und sie hat tatsächlich eine wichtige Aufgabe, da die Spieluhr am Ende des Stückes verklingt.

Cette œuvre a été composée pour les deux fils du compositeur, pour accueillir ces deux jeunes vies innocentes. Le concept et l’instrumentation de la composition permettent chaque orchestre de jeunes de l’interpréter. Le célesta (clavier) est un ajout stimulant qui évoque le son d’une vieille boîte musique et dont la partie significative diminue graduellement vers la fin de l’œuvre.
