We Three Kings of Orient Are (original title "Three Kings of Orient") or "The Quest of the Magi", is a Christmas carol that was written by John Henry Hopkins Jr. in 1857. This arrangement for string trio features three variations, with each instrument having an opportunity to take the lead.
