This arrangement by McIntire as an Intermediate Piano solo emphasizes the oriental origin of the Magi using modal variations of the tune. Although appropriate year round, this carol is particularly appropriate for Epiphany or Theophany which commemorates the visit of the Magi to the Christ Child.
