Warm-up Study #2 is a sequel to Warm-up Study #1. For ease of playing, everything is written in 1st position only in the keys of G major and D major. To accommodate ensembles with incomplete instrumentation, the 2nd violin is doubled in the viola, and the cello is doubled in the bass. Each exercise gets slightly more difficult, with exercise #5 being the most challenging. I hope you and your string orchestra will enjoy playing my warm-up exercises. Thank you!
