Transposed to B-flat major, this version for woodwind quintet brings a new and colorful perspective to a tuneful Slavonic-flavored waltz with shifting moods, meant for the concert hall rather than for the ballroom.
This "advanced" arrangement is suitable for college and adult ensembles, or perhaps for an adventurous high school quintet. It's a great concert opener, finale, or encore.
