Published by BJE Music (A0.750705).This tune was written in memory of my late father - Walter James Elliget, a sailor during World War II and a musician in the Navy as well….He loved Celtic music and he loved to dance!
It is a simple jig-like tune repeated several times building each time with additional instruments and counter melodies, The middle section, the Lament, is also a variation of this theme with some minor chords and other counter melodies added. This arrangement is for Orchestra. There is also a Concert Band version as well.
